As part of a rapid expansion, we’re currently looking for a full-time Online Video Blogger to increase views and subscriptions to our video channel (through blogging and other forms of online promotion).</p> <p>Location: Central London, UK.</p> <p>The Role:You will be required to increase traffic and subscriptions to the Diagonal View video channel (and all new associated video channels that Diagonal view launches), concentrating primarily on building traffic on our own website as well as distribution partner sites such as YouTube, MySpace & Bebo to name a few. You will be a self-starter who can work effectively wthout supervision, and bring new ideas about viral promotion to the company. You will leverage an advanced understanding of social networking sites, video platforms, rating systems, user groups and content recommendations. You will focus on gaining visibility and credibility on social networking sites, building up a large community of friends and partners for the purpose of promoting the Diagonal View brand.</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> • Building video traffic and subscriptions for Diagonal content according to pre-agreed weekly targets<br /> • Daily blogging of Diagonal content; posting video and text responses for Diagonal content<br /> • Finding and developing relationships with influential focus groups that are relevant for Diagonal content<br /> • Managing the video channel across all partner sites, including managing comments, communicating with subscribers, promoting new content, products and services, and regularly updating & editing video playlists.<br /> • Compiling weekly & monthly usage reports<br /> • Content Management and metadata writing</p> <p>Skills & Experience: You will have demonstrable experience in working with online <span class="caps">CMS</span> systems as well as social networking sites, online video platforms and <span class="caps">UGC</span> aggregation sites. You will have an advanced understanding of blogging, channel subscription dynamics, and viral marketing.
